timed out

I paper walls
hiding hideous marks
left over from a time we lost
I like crinkled finish
bubbles formed under paper

do we ever find time,
why we say we lost it?

  5. Wall paper was a marvelous invention. Mrs. Jim and I do wall papering together.
Neither of us could do it alone. She doesn't have the technical skills and I can never get the pattern matched.

Thank you for the the fun prompt.

  11. I love the metaphor of covering over a bad time with paper. As if by hiding the evidence, we can erase it. A very thoughtful reply to the prompt.
