bubbles

in my card album
I do not recognise many-
collected where?

collecting junk
has become a past-time-
what else should I do?

'do something'
my minds tells me-
I tear up pages

blank pages
contain my whole life-
like that graffiti

graffiti art
was a way with me-
you were jealous

jealousy got you
nowhere, but broke us-
did you ever care?

in that card album
I do not recognise many-
I throw away yours

  1. Bubbles break and disappear as they appear. Sometime some people are like that. Good piece.

  3. sounds like the tamil poetry type andhadhi - which has paras of poetry where the ending word of the first para will be the beginning word for the next para and so on and the last para will end with the first word of the whole poetry.

good one.. it flowed with ease..

  6. I love how you wrapped the narrative back around, then gave it a twist. Really love this part:

    'jealousy got you
    nowhere, but broke us-
    did you ever care?'

  13. I love the way you paint a picture of someone going through a card album! I could see every moment of it and feel the emotion.

And I also like the way you constructed this by using the last word of one paragraph to begin the next. Very cool!
