hand in hand

I lay my hand
on back of yours
letting my lifeline surge into you
invisible to us all,
those lines tell a tale
only to the skin

each little mark
mingles with other
my palm turns
towards yours
our palms silently speak
of their illicit love affairs

"I pen the words, to put on yours"

  9. There are at this point in time countless confirmations of the fact that all human expressions of intelligence both in art/craft and the written/spoken word are rooted in the hands. One is the insight that the study of metaphor provides.

I could go on and on ---- your poem as metaphor for the use of love between two people says it all hands down,
