laughter lines-----One Single Impression

on crumpled piece of paper
with a crayon, I sketch you-
no adornment in your ears,
eyes filled with laughter-
your hair pushed behind
the ears, you look almost
demure, your full lower
lip belying that fact. In
simplicity, beauty of your
soul is reflected in your face.
I see you running towards me
falling onto me, holding me
tight. I crush that paper
throwing it into the bin.

"I would rather keep you
within my heart, now
that you are gone forever"

  6. Oh, how tragic! Leaves me wondering if it was your first break up or a death.

  7. Oh, yeah. I know that pain.

This is one of the few times I think I'm lucky I can't draw.

  16. still lines
    but not without
    unpredictable
    mood-swings
    parabolic and hyperbolic
    trajectories
    sometimes tangent
    at other times
    dots in a straight line..
    searching
    for what is
    or what is not..!

  22. Oh my goodness. There was not a clue that this would end so sadly. I am stunned, with a few tears. I hope to be remembered like this, though. I want to yell, grab the paper out of the trash: don't do that! You'll regret this later!
