stapled maples...

I haven't shed leaves yet
although it is that time
I look at my branched feet
look again up the sky
I, my brothers live in harmony
our branches embrace each other
some kid nailed ceramic sun
we are lucky to have him so near

"watch out, our branches might fall on your glass house"

    That's great. But I wonder if they're plotting to fall on my house? I don't have a glass house but I DO have trees overhanging my roof. Scary........

    Very nice write. As trees and other plants are alive, I wonder if they too feel pain. Sad to think they do, isn't it?

    Lots of things trees can break-I do prefer they remain standing-however they can also provide heat, shade,
