make a sad song
on my broken record
it plays on and on
if Adam had covered Eve
I wouldn't have existed
neither you, but we do
that leaf can vellicate our skins
but do we ever learn to save the bell?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Vellicate:
- tickle: touch (a body part) lightly so as to excite the surface nerves and cause uneasiness, laughter, or spasmodic movements
- pinch: irritate as if by a nip, pinch, or tear; "smooth surfaces can vellicate the teeth"; "the pain is as if sharp points pinch your back"
Enjoyed it.. none of us would have existed..yes..but then we are happy existing.. aren't we..
ReplyDeleteAnd a good job we do. Nice one.
ReplyDeleteWell said. What could have been in that Garden of Rebellion (Almost).
ReplyDeleteWhat interesting words you use. My thoughts are definitely zig-zaggy - scatterbrain, that's me.
ReplyDeleteYou never know what will come of a garden. Nice usage of vallicate.
ReplyDeleteYou have vellicated my interest concerning your stance on whether orr not you support blaming Eve for the downfall of mankind as the misogynistic text suggests.
ReplyDeleteIf you recall, the two were not cast out because of eating the fruit, but to keep them away from the Tree of Knowledge...and this worked out quite well because look at how many Centuries it has taken mankind to overcome the mythology and gravitate towards an empirical scientific cosmology.
How do you plead?
Donn: I pleade guilty.
