tiny electrons,
arrayed into words-
jump into my page
I play around with them
the fire reaches out
melting me immediately
a seed, fruition
at its fringe-
is a gesture no more
inside walls of my skull
tackle a patchy tattoo
myriads of treasure
"tiny electrons enthrall me, always"
oh, chuckle.

ReplyDeleteI noticed you mentioned that math and poetry make good partners. It's also true of music and math - but I didn't know it until after high school!
ReplyDeleteHave to say, I love your writing, Gautami. Not a comment on this particular poem, just a general overflowing of admiration.
