a legend

his stature carries through centuries
not a legacy of one country,
transcends boundary
yet I find
"Abraham Lincoln was a lot shorter than I thought he would be"

  13. history has proven time and again, we should never underestimate the short of stature - although they might not be the best picks for our basketball teams... :)

  14. A lot shorter and a lot wiser than anyone thought he would be! He had a disorder called acromegaly (pituitary) in which the bones of the face were larger in proportion to the rest of his body and I guess that gave the impression that he should be taller!
