misting marshland-----Sunday Scribblings

your voice, unheard,
yet touches me
cooling my soul
like mist in marshland
songs of your spirit
stain the lakes of my heart

sun will turn to black hole
the mysteries of the universe
might get lost, I and you
will disintegrate into particles
moving randomly
hurtling through space

"when everything has to end
why can't I keep my mind composed?"

  1. A good question. And maybe continually asking it will provide the answer, before it comes to this.

  3. It does seem that such a strong mind should continue, or is that simply denial?

  7. This reminds me of sitting in my office on damp nights with the window behind me open to the breezes. Every once in a while, I'd feel a cool wet breath on my bare neck, and I'd feel touched by ghosts and souls and beautiful quiet.

  12. It is sad. We ride the winds of entropy, singing majestically and painting the sky. Hope has to come from outside this realm, that's for sure.

  21. "How can you catch a cloud and pin it down?" The mind is a variable not a constant. Enjoy composing in such a fluid world of ideas. That is the key to the mystery of the universe. Questions!

    Interesting!
