when earth moves

I will do my laundry when
blue light fully fades into green
a goldfinch comes to sit on windowsill
the slippery moss can't ruin my mood
I like the sunlight on the prison wall
it is trapped for a while
can only escape when the earth moves,
repeated each day, in that tiny cell

"virtual can be caught in a real situation,
escape too is not that easy"

  1. I like the feel and flow of your words Gautami. I want to think you aren't anxious to do laundry as you state a color ultimatum? Good but stifling image of life in a cell.

  4. Prison is a state of mind and or mood, we can feel trapped in the most ordinary routines that stifle our freedom , love the light and green moss and love the little birdie who can come and go as it pleases and pass easily through the bars. - a nice metaphors -
