inseparable

in heated sun
I stood guard
to burdens of world
one of God's creature
sat on my head
shading me from sun
breeze tickles my beard

I found my mellow mood again

  7. I like the synergy of bird and statue, and that you have picked the shelter of the spreading wings as central to the poem.

  9. I love the personification of the stature, his thoughts, and how the birds wide wingspan provides shade. That a statue can mellow and relax makes me smile. Thanks for sharing today!

  20. Gautami, this is one of my favorites I've seen of yours. The image was very sweet, but the words really set the mood.

  21. That is certainly a "the glass is half full" interpretation of this photo (shading my head vs crapping on it)! Good job.
