crumbling walls

I create miniscule space-
hide there blissfully
when the walls hit me
I don't feel the pain
where did the walls come from?
I did not build those
I like vast openness
with surprises in between.
minds eye journeys through
obstacles, stops at a corner
to rest and rejuvenate.

thats where I find you, my hero-
with your arms open for me,
a cocoon of love and security

  1. Often we feel smothered, and it's at these times we need the arms of a loved one for comfort.

  5. Life sometimes causes those walls to be built, even when we don't notice the construction. To find someone special whose love pulls the walls down is indeed a gift in life.

  8. We seem to be on a very similar wavelength today, you went one way, I went another. I really like where you went.

Sorry I'm so late in getting back here, my week was very busy and hectic.
