kaleidoscope----One Single Impression

dark foreboding clouds
give rise to goosebumps

flashing lights behind the eyes

chills the heart
blackness surrounds the mind

shaking up the very grounds
under our feet

"is it not strange we see a kaleidoscope
when we know fear has no colour?"

  1. I like the subtle depth. I thought I was wading in on an easy set of words when suddenly I was swimming in deep thought.

  6. I can feel the storm rolling in when I read this poem-- you can smell the ozone and feel the thunder. This is very nice.

  7. When I first considered this post, I thought of the contrast between the black and white of night and the color of daytime and mindfulness! You've done a wonderful job--far better than I could have. Thanks.

  8. You really make the reader feel what the sky might be saying. I always enjoy photographing dramatic
skies like the ones you've described here.
    Excellent!
