cloud reader

I fall to save my soul
from the burning coals
when cinders touch me
ice reaches me

I merge into the clouds
escaping from a vast wasteland
angels of sorrow surround me
as always I shed dry tears

"when tears fall, fear rushes out
I float so light in that dim light,
where everything looks black and white"

  10. angels of sorrow ! ? ! ?

This felt like a haunting song to me...I can imagine the hammered dulcimer and the flute and one of those ethereal celtic voices weaving through your beautifully strung together words.

    Absolutely gorgeous writing.

  12. This had beautiful imagery. It felt as though the soul was evaporating and making its way back to clouds, to be sent down again, sort of a reincarnation. Loved this, Gautami. Peace, Amy
