reflected changes-----One Single Impression

deeply staring into your eyes,
I see the irises changing shades
catching my mood into them
your air of detachment
disappears subtly
replaced by fierce heat

with intense interest I watch
our souls merging
where I am not I anymore
you are not you either

Another of my rare love poetry. I am leaving this open-ended as love in itself is open-ended. Your comments and feedbacks are always welcome.

  9. beautiful lines.. just loved these ones "where I am not I anymore
you are not you either" ... just like they have become strangers and nobody knows if they ever find a way back to each other. Kind of really sad..
