raging fires-
what is it you really seek?
preponderance-
can it cool you down
re-uniting you with the winds?
flying, fleeting ashes spread far and wide.
in my dreamy world
I too seek the impossibility,
but let it be unspoken for now.
picture it, frame it-
only take it out, when flames die down
Really like the mythology used as a metaphor for "reuniting" with the creative fire within.

The fire still burns here.
ReplyDeleteIn your corsswire of fires, it seems that there is a crosswire of the good and the bad - both have their place - a cleanser and a destroyer! Interesting poem!
ReplyDeletewe all have our "dream world" and it is a place where things that don't happen in the real do happen there!
ReplyDeletebeautiful thoughts Gautami!

Your poem contains passion and introspection. I think we need to kindle the fire within, in order to have a passion for life. Well said.
