that old pottery ochre mug
sits light in the darkest of corners

  16. Very poetic. But I don't agree with that note about English haiku: neither 5-7-5 not 6-8-6 is correct, for every verse has its own cadence.

  19. I like this, a lot. It explains why I keep a load of tat around the house. Memories. Like the wonky pottery figure of a lady in a hat (re-stuck many times) that my son made early in his school years.
