nice collection. I'm honored that I was connected. :)
ReplyDeleteVery nicely put.
ReplyDeleteStrong immagery.
ReplyDeleteExcellent poetry.
Nicely down, Guatami. I did follow your inspiration!
ReplyDeleteVery Good girl.......
ReplyDeleteMuch inspiration is seen here.
ReplyDeleteA great selection.
ReplyDeleteWell aren't you fabulous! Look at that, they're delicious...good girl ;)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this progression of imagse and was glad we were saved by a log in the end. Snow has a way of insisting on itself; thank goodness for the chance objects that keep us from falling into it!
ReplyDeleteThese are delightful to read ... building the images slowly --- glad the log stopped your fall ...
ReplyDeletestill having fun, eh? :)
ReplyDeletenicely done!
I really enjoyed the first haiku-- very meditative. Some of the others show great humor. Nice progression.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed all these little "slow" moments
ReplyDeleteI love the progression. Nicely done!
ReplyDelete'that' precipice...got me to thinking.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the progression of precipices, or is that precipii?
That first one is a seamless, complete image in itself. I really enjoyed all of these small breaths inward...
ReplyDeleteit's nice to see you get inspired by others. and these short responses appear to even have a common theme :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun progression and collection of haiku!
ReplyDeletei like your interpretation of the prompt! my favorite is:
ReplyDeleteknives of icicles
cannot prick into
my sandcastle dreams
Such mystery, I like! Reminds me of the Perils of Pauline.
ReplyDelete..(i had to warn my inspiration not to pour itself out here)..many thanks for sharing these..
ReplyDeleteClever, I like the way you used others' inspiration to write a series that so aptly describes a journey!
ReplyDeleteWow this is neat Guatami. Like how you created this delightful winter journey. I'm honored to be on your list. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI like all of these, many intriguing images. Perhaps my favorite is the one that least fits the overall arc -- "dracula's daughter" such a fun nonsequitur.
ReplyDeleteAll are lovely word pictures, My favourite was the second one...I think many aliens have inhabited us in the winter :)
ReplyDeleteHi Tami,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your haiku collection.
