~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
in the abyss of darkness
where black holes absorb
all that they can, he got lost-
momentarily blinded by it
yet he senses it has to end
nothing ever is never ending
Yeah!
Thanks for the delight and the smile of recognition. Yes, that is how it happens. Between words, between breaths, you know!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the prompt.
Really nice one. The first one.
ReplyDeleteTo be lost temporarily in a black hole is an intense idea. I feel the crushing pressure of all and nothing at once!
ReplyDeleteAll kinds of interesting interpretations in this one. Well done!
ReplyDeleteMaybe not your style but I enjoyed them both. :)
ReplyDeleteYou never fail to surpise and amaze me! These are both short but deep!
ReplyDeleteHi Guatami!
ReplyDeleteI just came by to check out some of your entries from the past several weeks. I learned a new word from you "tatterdemalion" - that's a great word!
I haven't been around, I've been working too hard. Is there no more Monday Poetry Train?
so witty especially the first
ReplyDeleteI so love the sparse nature of these two pieces Gautami -- especially the second piece. Powerfully minimal, yet it immerses you instantly and deeply in its rich essence.
ReplyDelete"nothing ever is never ending" the mantra of the material world... ;)
I'm still perplexed as to why they took the N out of DilemNa...
ReplyDeletehow rude!
These are great - zen and wise!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed. Black-holistic!:)
ReplyDeleteWanting an end to things that will inevitably end anyway - perhaps the sentiment of wishing for 'forever' will last forever.
