incomplete yet so replete

In day's last light
he moved very quietly
hidden behind her

hidden from moon
his non-existent shadows
spooked her out

out came her arms
to protect her facade
and hit him instead

hit by her
he fell on ground
embracing it

sweet earthy embrace
took him in
held him like a lover

earth as his beloved
he kissed it passionately
needing none other

  1. Don't have words to express, just one thing.. amazing lines..

    sweet earthy embrace
    took him in
    held him like a lover

Thoughts.. you have a way to express Gautami..

  5. Now that is what I call falling in love, need I say it: I LOVE IT ;)

and the word verification is perfect for your version of love:
    BRITIAL
    instead of
    bridal
because it needs the T of a BRUTE

and I know you get this :)

  8. I love how he didn't get what he wanted, but embraced what he ended up with anyway.

The Rolling Stones..."you can't always get what you want, but you get what you need" played through my head after reading this.

  9. Yeah! I too like how he didn't get what he wanted but embraced what he got and loved it.

I linked in from Carry on Tuesdays -- lovely finding your words here!

  13. This one had me searching for that meaning, and I think I found it. I love how you're able to take inanimate and give it life, breathing existence into your pieces.
