deathless ghosts
Do hop on aboard the Monday Poetry Train. Great place to hangout. Post your creative links there. What's stopping you?
in that deathless night
dark images dance merrily
undead spirits come alive
ghost graves shake
melting into dead air
heat of that night
goes icily cold
I shiver thousand miles away.
"you would have understood me,
had you but waited."
oh I love the other worldy feel of this one
ReplyDeleteBugga, winter can cannot be far away!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant as ever!
ReplyDeleteInteresting: you change your area into a groovy, dark and gothic one.

I think we all dance with ghosts from time to time. And, who doesn't get chills when someone walks over our grave. Great write. Have a nice night.
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing...quite haunting and thrilling at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI love the words that finish it too.
I'm shocked to read your most recent post....I never thought that could happen. Thanks for the tale of caution. It must be a massive loss, I'm sorry. I can't imagine losing 3 years of work.

Excellent as usual.
ReplyDeleteGhostly when ghosts stir..I did not understand the last two lines though, it sort of popped up from nowhere..like a ghostly appearance
ReplyDeleteI like the quote at the end. Gives a voice to the spirits, for me.
