hubris

Stanley Kubrick for Look Magazine, 1949
complex edge takes me away from the beaten tracks
we have become still pictures in this forest of feelings
my lie has grown so pale
answers are not needed now
you will throw the files
I will light that gas with this lighter
burning all the invisible mess

"still I need a class or two to unlearn you
but in the vintage mode"

  2. I wasn't sure what to do with the Mag picture. Something might come to me yet.
This poem makes me think of my first marriage at its end. Luckily the second one has worked out far better!

  3. The end of a relationship is so hard to live through - hopefully, good memories will eventually be all that remain.

  7. It is a wonder that opposites stay together for so long. Perhaps admission of failure is worse than denial. Unlearning is something that can't be learned only endured. What a contemplative piece this is.

A lot of wrongs and hiccups are rarely seen but are felt strongly by those at the receiving end! Truly said Gautami!
