An all too common quandary. :)
Ah, 'tis often the way.
I hate it when things that flow well get interrupted! Thanks.
Well, men's weakness!
...and such was the story of the everyday girl who let a ball steal her man!!! Great centus!
Two football games yesterday on T.V.! Three more months of this sillyness! Sometimes it makes my head spin. Great take on the prompt!!
Aren't they all? heehee=)
Haha, I empathise with that footballing lover of yours! Nice punchline to finish that off, very neat.
In the early days of infatuation, or football or anything you can to love, then something else.
LOL, so true…but lots of time to read and write poetry, when the game is on.
"river of emotions"...it happens..!!
Mine's into Formula 1 racing - but the effect's the same!
yikes someone needs to get their priorities right...
:D lol!!! Awesome! I in fact recalled a conversation between some of my friends when I was in college. A friend got a date from a pretty looking girl. On the same day we had a match, a football match. The match got extended and poor him, alas in the joy of victory forgot about the date! BTW you got a very clean and nice blog! I liked it!
men.it's always the same.love your 160 :)
Us guys and our sports. Thanks for playing again this week. You're always a welcome contribution to the Sunday 160.
a football game shall not block love.well.sad story well told.
Nice work Tami. Men and their football. Maybe if we looked like a football????Melanie
I love it all, but especially that last line!
like it!...well, except the disappointed outcome perhaps. :(
Right on Tami! I just went through that this afternoon with Mrs. Jim! She had the nerve to ask me to help her find something (a picture of a grandkid) when my team was behind seven points and only four minutes remained in the game...
Ha ha ha! Welcome to the Football widows club! Hee hee!!!~Ames
Oh, so it goes! Wow. Great poem.
That is too bad...love interrupted by football. Nicely written.
loved that 'river of emotions in between'but watching a football game always spoils those river of emotions, again and again! grrrrr!loved it that much GT!
It seems the way with men and football!
Dang football! :) Well done!
World class sports and T.V coverage can be fascinating, and one catches it like virus :D
Good one...I hadn't even thought about this perspective because I make it my 'alone time' when Hubs is into football.Yes for many women a deal breaker but I just do what I want during football season, usually shopping, watching a movie, nap, whatever...
Your takes on the prompts never surprise me.. because I have stopped expecting anything that would not make one think here..and you have put it so well..Thank You!!!
Bit much when football wins over love! LOL
Love at first sight for him and football! Men!
After all, Friday night happens only once a week ;-)Anyway, I have no such trouble, so it's easy for me.Wonderful and cute take on the prompt!
it's all about football and we're the dessert...
I have been caught in that river...niece work
River of emotions.Wow.I love the ebb and flow of your words. They are as powerful as the tide.Lovely.
