Got a question.
Why do certain people want others to follow what they are thinking? Why do they want to tire the other with the sheer weight of their words? To make a particular point, they go on and on. The point is, I always miss it (the point, that is) if it is kind of forced upon me.
I deal with such people with silence on my part. Is there any other way?
OK, now follow me here, this is going to take awhile. The reason why some of us use five million, three hundred thousand, eight hundred and seventy two words to get across one point is....ah......what was the question again?
ReplyDeleteyou can walk off and let them know you dont care.,..or you can make your stand and fight back.
ReplyDeleteNot sure what to say because I'm not a terribly forceful person; If I find someone's not buying my point of view, I just shrug and move on to something else, why waste my breath on them? Besides, people are entitled to disagree with me, I think! ;)
ReplyDeletethe micheal: you made your point...:D
ReplyDeleteghost particle: I simply walk away..
lotus reads: true but I am not talikng about disagreements here.
ooops, I see you are not, you must have caught me napping! :)
ReplyDeletePeople often feel more secure if they can convince your of their idea of truth. I don't feel that way. I say what I believe, and if people want to know more, I will share it. Truth is one of those things that we only can hope to grasp at in particles in our lifetimes.
ReplyDeletelotus: that's ok..:D
ReplyDeleteenemy of the republic: I think we should be flexible enough to be able to see both the sides of it. Some people just close their minds.
