Cogitation

Flamboyant, flowing, fluid,
akin to mischievous stream,
etched in my mind.

Prior to blink of an eye,
or trace of breath,
lashed away by time.

A festering belief
loiters in solitude,
gaze nailed on the horizon.

Waiting for inferno
a flash of truth in the future
or grim opaqueness of a hazy mind?

Change

I like changes as I feel stiffled in the same kind of situation for long. I need constant stimulation of my mind and for that change is important. It can be, I induced the change or it came of its own with certain demands of a particular situation. Its not really about feeling good or bad about changes but about how we can cope with it. Change is inevitable and we should be prepared for it and able to embrace it. Rejecting it mentally does not help as it will be there, whether we want it or not.

Its only a matter of time....and how can you avoid change which is the ONLY constant in life?

Sloe Comfortable Screws

Feelings for you
were ever so strong
I never realized
something was wrong

Now it’s too late
can’t be salvaged
Like a moron I stare
Unseeingly at the wreckage

Only silences left
Words are dead
My eyes have dried
No more tears to shed

Talking would have helped
But you refused
Why does it make me
feel so used

Looking back, I see
How you misconstrued
Now I solace myself
With sloe comfortable screws!

*Sloe comfortable screw is a cocktail consisting of sloe gin, southern comfort and orange juice

The Blank Noise Project....Eveteasing

The male mentality has not changed over the times. If one is single, most assume she is available. No matter how much you are comfortable with it and are happy, some boorish males just assume and presume too much and want to run your life for you. they think they are God's gift to womankind. Saying a firm no does not shake them either. They do not realise that they are just making asses of themselves!

Writer unblocked

My poetic inspiration
seems to be in spurts.
When I thought it was dead
out of nowhere it bursts!

The term "creative juices"
I thought was rather very
crude.
Now it seems to apply perfectly
to my words-flowing mood.

Just when I was wondering
I am of no more use
out came words bursting
Bringing along my muse.

Quanta of inspiration,
verses seem to spout
I better write it all here,
before it again runs out!!
